Reflection

This began as an expansion on the "Memory of a Moment" project, however I wanted to change its scope. Rather than looking back at fleeting moments, I wanted to focus on the contrasting and opposite positive memories of a lover looking back and reminiscing. Specifically, one looking back at life with their lover and the positive story those memories hold. As opposed to the project's original focus on expectant grief, this work focuses on a lived joy. It is meant to complete the original work and come together to form a true reminiscence; where one can look back at their life and see the memories unfold as they were. Where they once lived being afraid of the memory's sole persistence, they now live in the sum of those memories as a fulfilled individual.
