Recurssion

The process of creating art is a recursive one; one that demands the erosion of its history in exchange for a single, fluid finale. When first listening to the sound, I heard a slow march, but each repetitive step reminded me of the difficult journey necessary to create and display an artistic vision. My chosen photos focus on my interpretation of the audio as the long, winding process necessary to create art that fits the artist's vision. The mixture of pristine, saturated pathways and dark, grainy photos blend to show the process of photography and the journey needed to find your art. This work is meant to represent that repetitive march towards artistic progress and the difficult process of creating the final piece.
